What is Burn EV?

Burn EV is a web app for studying poker ranges. It lets you build your preflop ranges in a visual editor, train them with a hand quiz and a memory mode, look them up in a viewer and share them with your students if you run a school or coach.

Can I try Burn EV for free?

Yes. Every new account starts with a 14-day trial with access to the editor, practice and viewer. When it ends, if you do not subscribe, your account moves to the Free plan: you keep training for free with your Free set and any sets your school shares with you, without losing anything you created.

Does it work for any poker format?

Yes. You define your own spots, effective stacks and actions (raise, call, limp, all-in, fold or whatever you need), so Burn EV works for MTTs, cash games, Spin & Go or any No Limit Hold’em.

How does range training work?

In the hand quiz you see a random hand with its spot and stack and choose the right action; in blind mode you rebuild a full chart from memory. Every answer is recorded in your stats, and the quiz counts toward your ELO and the yearly leaderboard.

Can I share my ranges with my students?

Yes. With the School plan you invite your students by email and decide, for each range set, whether they can view, practice or export it. Students can use a Free account and can never modify your ranges.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Burn EV runs in your browser, on desktop and mobile, and everything is saved to your account so you can pick up on any device.

Can I export my range charts?

Yes. From the viewer you can export your charts to PNG or PDF to review them outside the app or share them.
